North Norfolk Railway Photos 2005.
Thursday 27th October
More today, and the N7 once again alternating trains with the DMU as this is probably my last post this year, i'd like to thank everybody who has helped in some way to make these photos possible, From the drivers getting the glory, down to the (Vitally important) Weybourne Buffet Staff! And of course you for looking (And commenting) on the photos. Next time this gets updated will be the Winter Gala (unless i get bored and have an urge to go viewing diesels) on a new NNR 2006 Page. Actually i've got a load of archive stuff to upload.. that will probably be up in early december :-) All the best for Christmas and the New Year, Dave

Wednesday 26th October

My First visit in a month, and a beautiful day to go with it, the N7 performing superbly.
Appologies for the lack of recent updates, but i wasn't able to go and see 'NO.9' in Norwich,
and the Bure Valley Gala... least said the better.
Probably more tomorrow... especially if the weathers this good again

Sadly the sun didn't come again, but the crowds did in force.
In a lot of ways this event marks the end of the NNR season, so a big thanks to everyone who's made it so successful.
There are a few more railway events i'm going to over the next month or so so stay tuned im not finished for the year yet!

Saturday 17th September - The first bit of War.

The 40's weekend was as ever very well supported. Three locos in steam, 69621, 90775 and 34081.
Was awfully cold though, but gives some interesting reflections on the images
I can never remember seeing so many people at weybourne, i will try and get a picture of it tomorrow.
Also check back during the week, i will be putting up some sound clips that are quite stunning of engines climbing the Bank

The J15 was failed early in the day, leaving the WD, 34081,69621 and 3440 in operation.
The last time i will sadly see City of Truro, a beautiful loco that was always a pleasure to photograph and ride behind
A worthy successor to Green Arrow, and im sure there will to be an engine just as beauitful as 3440 around next year!

A murky day. In operation today the N7 69621, WD 90775, BOB 34081 and 3440 City of Truro.
A shorter update than yesterday, due to footballing commitments but at least Norwich winning lifted the gloom somewhat.
I applogise for the excessive amount of double header photos... but after 34081 not being avalible last year why not make the most?
Getting from Bridge 303 up to 299 was a real achivment! More Tomorrow... I must be mad.
